Early Bird Price! Ready to spice up your Salsa skills? Our Improver Level is the perfect next step for those who have mastered the basics. Before you dive into the Improver Level, it's important to have a solid foundation in the basic figures and combinations of Salsa Cubana. Not sure if you're ready? No worries! The Free Tryout Open Level is important to know your level. Over ten weeks, students will typically learn various basic steps, turns, combinations, and techniques for leading and following. The course may also cover Cuban body movement, footwork, and the history and cultural significance of salsa music and dance in Cuba. Each class may begin with a warm-up and review of previously learned material, followed by introducing new steps and combinations. Students will have the opportunity to practice with different partners and may also participate in group (Rueda Casino) exercises and drills to improve their technique. The difficulty level may increase as the course progresses, with more complex combinations and turns being introduced. By the end of the ten weeks, students should have a solid foundation in Cuban-style salsa, with the ability to improvise and dance confidently with a partner.
