First, what is Latin Soul Dance?
Latin Soul Dance is a multicultural dance-fitness and Latin culture studio based in The Hague.
We are not a traditional gym, and we are not a dance school where you need to worry about being perfect. We are a warm, international community where people of different ages, cultures, nationalities, and experience levels come together through Latin music and movement.
Our classes combine fitness, dance, coordination, confidence, culture, and human connection. Most importantly, we want you to enjoy moving without pressure or fear.
Choose your class according to what you want
I want an energetic cardio workout
Try Zumba Fitness.
Zumba combines Latin and international music with easy-to-follow dance-fitness movements. You can expect salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, and other rhythms in one energetic class.
This is a good choice if you want to:
Improve your fitness and stamina
Burn energy without using gym machines
Dance without having to learn a complete choreography
Enjoy a joyful and social workout
Leave class feeling energized
You do not need to know how to dance. Follow what you can, adapt the movements when necessary, and gradually become more confident.
I am a beginner or prefer a gentler pace
Try Zumba Gold.
Zumba Gold offers the joy, music, and atmosphere of Zumba with movements that are easier to follow and adapt to.
It can be a wonderful starting point if you are new to exercise, returning after a break,k or prefer a class with a more moderate pace.
Zumba Gold is not about age or dancing perfectly. It is about moving safely, building confidence,e and enjoying the music at your own level.
I want to become stronger, but I don’t enjoy gyms
Try Workout After Work.
Workout After Work is our “gym without the gym” concept.
It combines accessible strength, conditioning,g and functional movement in a friendly group environment. There are no complicated machines and no intimidating gym atmosphere.
This class is ideal if you want to:
Build strength
Improve general fitness
Support your body for everyday movement
Complement your dance or Zumba classes
Exercise in a motivating community
You can adapt the exercises to your current level, so you do not need to be fit before joining.
I love reggaeton and want a powerful workout
Try Reggaeton Fitness.
Reggaeton Fitness brings together urban Latin music, dance-inspired movement, cardio, and strength.
The atmosphere is energetic, expressive, and powerful. It is a great choice if you want to relieve stress, improve your fitness, and build your confidence through movement.
You do not need previous reggaeton or dance experience. The objective is not perfection—it is energy, movement, and attitude.
I want to learn Cuban salsa and dance with other people
Try Cuban Salsa or Rueda Lab.
Cuban salsa is social, playful, and full of musical connection. You can learn fundamental steps, partner work, and the cultural character of Cuban dance.
Rueda de Casino is danced in a circle, with couples changing partners as they follow calls. At Rueda Lab, we practice figures, improve together, and build a real community around Cuban salsa.
These classes are a good choice if you want to:
Develop your dance skills
Meet new people
Understand Cuban salsa more deeply
Prepare for social dancing
Become part of a regular dance community
You do not need to bring your own partner unless a particular course or event says otherwise.
I want to discover Dominican bachata or merengue
Try our Dominican dance classes and workshops.
Dominican bachata and merengue are social dances rooted in Dominican culture.
In our classes and cultural events, we go beyond memorizing steps. We explore the music, rhythm, movement,t and cultural background that give these dances their unique identity.
These activities are perfect for people who want to learn, socialize, and experience Latin culture in an authentic and welcoming environment.
I want to explore Afro-Caribbean or Latin American culture
Try Afro-Caribbean dance or Cumbia skirt dance.
These classes connect movement with rhythm, identity, history and cultural expression.
Afro-Caribbean dance allows you to explore grounding, musicality and expressive movement. The cumbia skirt dance introduces the color, elegance, and traditions associated with one of Latin America’s most recognized musical cultures.
You do not need a cultural background or previous experience to participate. Curiosity and respect are enough.
I want to dance together with my family
Try Zumba Family Flow or Zumba Kids.
Our family and children’s programs make movement playful, inclusive and enjoyable.
Zumba Family Flow invites children, parents and grandparents to move together through accessible music, games and dance. Zumba Kids gives younger participants space to move, express themselves and build confidence.
These programs are offered through selected classes, family events, schools and cultural collaborations.
I need to slow down, release tension, and reconnect with myself
Try RESET — Mind • Body • Soul.
RESET is a different kind of wellbeing class designed to help you slow down, recharge your energy, and reconnect with yourself and others.
It is not a yoga class, and it is not a traditional fitness class. Every session is different and may combine:
Mindfulness and conscious breathing
Meditation and visualisation
Gentle movement and mobility
Stretching
Music and energising exercises
Reflection and gratitude
Social connection and group activities
Some sessions are calmer and more reflective, while others include more movement, music and interaction.
RESET is open to adults of all backgrounds and fitness levels. You do not need experience in dance, meditation, or mindfulness. Simply come as you are and participate at your own pace.
Breathe. Move. Connect.
Come curious. No experience needed. Just give yourself one hour to RESET.

What if I have never danced before?
You are exactly the kind of person we want to welcome.
Many people arrive at Latin Soul Dance saying:
“I have no rhythm.”
“I am not fit enough.”
“I am too old to start.”
“I will probably do everything wrong.”
But there is no test, audition, or expectation that you should already know the movements. Learning to feel comfortable takes time, and every participant is allowed to progress at their own pace.
Our instructors demonstrate the movements, offer alternatives, and encourage you without putting you under pressure.
What language are the classes taught in?
Most classes are taught primarily in English so that internationals and people from different backgrounds can participate together.
Spanish may also be used naturally in some classes, and instructions can be adapted as needed. You do not need perfect English or Dutch to join. Movement, music, and a welcoming smile communicate a great deal.
Can I try different classes?
Yes. You can start with a single class or a week tryout and discover what feels right for you.
Latin Soul Dance offers different booking possibilities, including individual classes, class packages, and memberships. Availability can vary, so always check the current schedule and reserve your place in advance.
Some classes are especially popular, and advance booking helps us maintain a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
